This morning I received a lovely email which I thought was too nice not to share - it was from clients at my Kennel Club Good Citizen classes on a Monday evening. Here's what they had to say:
"Under Gemma's guidance our boys, Ollie & Murphy have gone from strength to strength in both behaviour and confidence. The classes Gemma runs are informative and great fun for both the dog and the handler and you come away each week feeling that you achieved something and are moving forward with your training. Gemma is great at getting the best out of both the handler and the dog as she makes the classes fun, she praises and encourages even the smallest improvement and encourages you to do the same. Our confidence as handlers has increased and we feel this has also benefited Ollie & Murphy. I can honestly recommend Gemma's courses and approach to training and the fact that we are still attending nearly a year after we started must say something about the whole experience. Thank you so much Gemma you have made it so easy!!

And from the boys!!
"Aunty Gemma is fab she encourages us to do our best and gives we get yummy treats when we do even the smallest thing towards the end result, which makes us want to do more. She encourages and coaxes us and also encourages Mum & Dad to do the same!!. We have a great time meeting up with our friends on a Monday night and enjoy all the activities we do. We have learnt such a lot since we joined and we have lots more confidence now and even a few tricks up our sleeves! We would encourage you all to come along and give it a try, we are sure you will enjoy the happy relaxed atmosphere that is created, you also learn loads whilst getting lots of cuddles, treats and praise, win win situation."
A very happy Ollie & Murphy, Flatcoat Retriever x Lurchers
I remember meeting Lita & Clint when the two boys were very young puppies, bought from a farm and quite shy little lads. Both have grown into quietly confident, well-behaved young adults - I'm very proud of how far they've come on in their training.
Today I'm grateful for a job that leads me to meet some amazing people and their fabulous dogs :)
